This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: RogAlexander Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.southcarolina.counties.spartanburg/5352/mb.ashx Message Board Post: James Alexander owned land on the south branch of the Pacolet River in the latter 1700's and very early 1800's. Two of his sons, James Jr. and Matthew also had land very nearby. All 3 are listed in the 1790 census for Spartanburg County. We are hoping to locate these lands and connect with anyone who might have information on or be descended from this family. Respectfully, Roger Alexander Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
