Is anyone familiar with the family of John F. GREER and his wife, Abbie, of Beech Springs Township, Spartanburg Co., SC. John was born abt 1867 in SC and Abbie was born abt 1869 in SC. Their children were: Etta Jane (married S. Broadus VAUGHN), Lorene, Iler B. (married Stanley SEXTON), Pearl (married a WOODWARD), a daughter whose name may have been Lee or else she married a Lee JACKSON, sons: Edward, Smiley, Leonard, George, and James. 1920 census shows additional son named Boyce. In 1927 when Etta Jane died, he is not mentioned in her obituary. John F. is deceased by this time but his wife, Mrs. J. F. GREER is surviving her daughter. Any help would be truly appreciated.
