Petition 1836 No. 112 1836-112-01 July 28th 1836 State of South Carolina Spartanburg District To the Honourable Commissioners of roads we your humble petitioners of the state and district aforesaid pray that your honorable Board would take into consideration respecting of a road to be opened, Commencing from the Roger's Bridge road at Ebsworth Moores old Field leading from thence by Tyger River at Hill's Bridge near Hill's Factory, thence by William Young's Esq, thence to intersect the Buncombe Road at or near Capt. Littlefield's the distance from the commencement of said Road to Capt. Littlefield's about eight miles. We your humble Petitioners pray that you would grant us the privelidge of opening the said road believing the Road would be a benefit for the public utility at large and the settlement generally. Wm.
