SPARTANBURG HERALD---8 Nov. 1945 TRAVIS BRIGHT Gaffney---- Funeral services for Travis Bright, 59, textile worker, who died suddenly late yesterday at his Limestone Mill home, will be conducted at 4 tomorrow afternoon at the Salvation Army Citadel by Capt. G.A. Hyde and the Rev. Clarence Hampton. Burial will be in Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mattie Harris Bright; 4 daughters, Mrs. Charles McKinney, Mrs. W.R. Bright Jr., and Janie and Diseree Bright; 4 sons, Travis of Detroit, John, Floyd and Roy Edward Bright; 5 sisters, Mrs. Bess Paterson, Mrs. Mary Lee Ruppe, Mrs. Jim Atkins, Mrs. Janie Gordon and Mrs. Fred Patterson, and 4 brothers, County Magistrate W.F. Bright, Ed, Jap and Robert Bright.
