ok - i have some theories and i hope someone out there can help. I have a Kimbrell Reynolds b. abt 1810 Spartanburg Co., d. abt 1871 Buncombe Co., NC family lore says he had a sister (Sally?) who married a CARTEE. now - I think that Kimbrell is his mother's maiden name. From what little i know about the Kimbrell families (Robert & Thomas) there were some intermarriages with REYNOLDS/RANNOLLS. i'm at a point where i know something has got to be true but just have no idea how i can prove or disprove it. can anyone enlighten me on Kimbrell and Reynolds families in Spartanburg Co - so i can maybe put together my disjointed folks?
