Nancie, I appreciate that but I’m going up to my parent’s in Spartanburg in two weeks and had planned on going to the library and retrieving this obit. I found it in their archives. In fact, I’ve got a list of about 20 obits to get. Perhaps Isaac’s obit will list his parents, because I have no idea who they were. I can’t find Minnie Elizabeth Henderson Beaty though. Since I have no clue of when she died I’m kind of lost. I called Greenlawn, who now manages Daniel Morgan Memorial Cemetery in Cowpens, and they had no record of either burial. But, he did say they only took this cemetery over and didn’t mention who used to run it. The family is going to place a marker on those poor unmarked graves this year. I’m speculating that Minnie died somewhere between my Grandfather Beaty’s marriage in 1925 and Isaac’s death in 1954…..30 years, Yikes!
