William Bright () was born about 1827 in , Spartanburg Co, SC. William married Martha Jane Phillips, daughter of Samuel W. Phillips. Martha was born about 1836 in Anson Co, NC. They had the following children: + 4 M i. Perry Harrison Bright was born on 18 Jul 1853 and died on 5 Dec 1922. 5 M ii. William Bright was born about 1857 in , Spartanburg Co, SC. 6 M iii. Theodore Bright was born about 1859 in , Spartanburg Co, SC. 7 iv. Oli Bright was born about 1864. 8 F v. Martha Bright was born about 1866 in Cherokee Co, SC. 3. Chesterfield Bright () was born about 1833 in , Spartanburg Co, SC. Chesterfield married Louisa about 1852. Louisa was born about 1834. They had the following children: 9 F i. Amanda Bright was born about 1853 in , Spartanburg Co, SC. 10 M ii. Bright. Her tombstone says Lucinda A. Bright --wife of M. F. Bright. REPLACEMENT STONE says Culvin Bright and not Calvin. I know that his son Culvin, Jr's stone says Calvin but I personally know that the replacement stone says Culvin. Culvin was his name.
