OLIVE WACHTER MILLER, widow of the late SAMUEL E. MILLER at the home of her daughter, MRS. CLIFTON JONES, in Columbia. Her death while a great shock to her friends was not expected. More than a year ago a serious malady developed which despite the best medical skill, could not be arrested. She was originally from near Baltimore. She was 68 years of age. After her marriage to Samuel Miller, also of Maryland, they with 3 small children, came South, making their home here until death of MR. MILLER 5 years ago , since which time she had been living with her daughter, MRS. JONES. Surviving her are 3 children, MRS. CLIFTON JONES, Columbia, MRS. MAX WOOD, Greenwood, and E. BURKE MILLER, Pacolet; also 2 brothers, WM. WACHTER, Md. and AUBREY WACHTER, Arizona.
