Dear Listers: I am hoping that someone on the list will be familiar with, or will be able to assist me in locating information on Pinkney Pryor b. about 1848 in NC. I located him in 1910 in Spartanburg, living with his son George D. at age 70, as a widow. Of course, I am trying to locate information on his parents and his marriage. In order to do that I need to find his death information (I think). His wife's name was Susanna. I'm trying to locate her maiden name. She must have died between 1900 and 1910 in Spartanburg Co., because she is shown with R. Pinckney Pryor on the 1900 census at age 54. I can not read the names of the children with them on this census. I could not locate him on the 1920 census, so I'm guessing he died between 1910 and 1920. Is there anyone out there that can help me in locating some information? Karen P.S. If I can return a favor, I am a lookup volunteer for census records 1850-1930 in the State of Indiana.
