    1. [SCSPARTA] War of Northern Aggression
    2. After reading the posts about the War Between the States, or as Robert E. Lee referred to the Yanks as, Those People. One would have to go back in time, have lived then, been born then, raised then and educated in those times to truly understand the reason of the whys and how's things were handled in the 1800s. If someone truly wishes to learn the reason for a war, go back and read the very articles written by the people that lived during those times. Don't read the new thinking of what someone of today pushes on our schools to read, written by someone of today's mind set.. I've found in my research, by reading the articles written from the 1840s -- 18660's an entire different way of thinking, viewing and action taken for life in general....................We cannot not use our mind set of today to say why this or this was done or this is horrible or that is beyond belief, etc. In closing, I will say that the people today will believe just about anything that is told to them. If you truly wish to learn, don't read the books in print today that are tainted with untruths, read the books that have been out of print from the 1800's. It will be an eye openner..

    3. This is a direct quote from HISTORY OF OLD PENDLETON DISTRICT by R. W. Simpson, published 1913. He was b. Sept. 11, 1840 in Anderson Co., was a private in the Confederate army in Company A, Third Regiment South Carolina Volunteers, and in Adams' battalion of cavalry from Apr. 1861 to 1863. [Reconstruction in South Carolina, the Campaign of 1876 and the Wallace House] P.52: "The people were in earnest and when a definite policy was agreed upon, every one united heart and soul in the one great purpose,-the salvation of the white race. In this convention was born the policy which to this day governs the entire South-that is that the white people of the Southern States will never permit the white race to be pulled down from its high state of civilization by social intercourse or amalgamation with the negro. God made our race to differ from another in glory. They must obey the laws of God, if we wish to preserve the integrity of the white race." I think this qualifies as a definite *eye opener*!
