NEW PROSPECT POINTS: -Curtis and Floyd McMILLIN are visiting the world's fair at St. Louis. -Mrs. Fannie BRICKER of Mill Springs visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert DODD last week. -Mrs. Henry MORGAN of Landrum has been spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. BALLENGER at this place. WALNUT GROVE GLEANINGS: -Rev. Mr. MASON filled his appointment at Walnut Grove Methodist Church Sunday morning. -Miss Noga JAMES has returned from Greenville, where she is attending college. -M. O. GENTRY a candidate for Sheriff, passed through here last week. CRINKLES FROM CAVINS: -Mr. and Mrs. D. E. SKINNER visited at S. M. THORTON's last Saturday and Sunday. -Miss Callie THOMAS who has been attending school in Asheville, has returned home. -True SNOW who has been attending school near here, has returned to his home in Woodruff. PERSONALS FROM WOODRUFF: -Among those who attended the Confederate reunion in Charleston were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. WESTMORELAND, Miss Pattie McAULAY, Miss Rebbie WESTMORELAND, and J. B. BRAGG. -Dr. GRAY of Statesville, N. C., who has been visiting Misses McAULEY returned to his home today. -J. D. WOOD's residence on Peachtree street is nearly completed. -J. W. JONES is building a nice store on Main street, which will be fore rent. -Baseball seems to be the order of the day and our boys are getting very jubilant over their success.
