Myra was born circa 1852 I believe Minerva's occupation is given as washer woman. I need help locating her husband and parents. There is the possibility that she was married in NC and her husband was killed. At any rate, she ended up in Spartanburg Co and has at least three children. If anyone has her in their lineage, PLEASE advise!!!!! I would like to know if she is related to Isaac Crocker who also shows up in the Census. Also, if there are any African-American descendants of the Crocker family or African Americans who can identify John Simpson who was living with Myra Crocker in 1880 in the 1880 NC Census. Family legend says that Minerva Crocker was a light-skinned African American lady who married a white man named Crocker. Myra's son looked more American Indian than African American> ANY assistance would be VERY much appreciated!!!!!!
