Turner b. 6.27.1833 - d. 9.15.1903 living in Greenville, SC and is buried at the Springwood Cemetery in downtown Greenville, served in the Civil War. He manufactured black walnut and metallic coffins and caskets and was partnered with James F. Mackey in Turner and Mackey Furniture Store.
