Hi Jim, My mother was a Sexton and her Grand father and Grandmother was burried at Duncan First Baptist. Her father? was John Lawrence and ggrandfather was Henry.? I have a little info on this family if we may could share.? Subsequently, I found reference to Middle Tyger Baptist Church (the former name of Duncan First Baptist Church until the 1920's) in the Furman University library, special collections.
