Well, the welcome to the list email said to introduce myself. I am Lisa Vise Ricks. I live in Texas by way of my parents and descendents from OK>AR>SC. My Spartanburg interests are particularly with the VISE/VICE family. Also ROEBUCK, MASON, MEADOWS, POOLE, BOBO and all the other folks who married into the Vise/Vice family. I have met many cousins in the three years since I began my research. I am also interested in the LEWIS family that eventually moved to Alabama. It is always a thrill to meet someone new. I have a Vise/Vice family website and would be happy for anyone who is interested to request a password. I started it for everyone, not just me. There are photos of most of Azariah Vise's children and many photos of their descendents. Some of these are also posted on the Spartanburg County website at Rootweb. I would very much welcome any additional photos, information, corrected information, etc. I hope that someday it will be a place that that descendents can come to see a comprehensive record of the Vise family.
