He sustained a serious injury to one of his feet some time ago, being thrown from a buggy, but he will be all right when he gets a little stronger. Professor J.M. HUGHSTON has just returned from Dr. CALHOUN's care in Atlanta. It gives us great pleasure to report that the operation on his eye was a success and that his vision is perfect again. Mrs. GALBRAITH is now enjoying a visit from Mrs. GREGORY and Miss GREGORY, her mother and sister from Virginia. Mr. Jake WALKER has returned from a three weeks visit to his mother in Alabama.
