CASH was a member of Mount Olive Baptist church for the past 55 years. His wife, MRS. EMMA McCLURE CASH, died about 25 years ago. He was the s/o MR. and MRS. JEFF CASH. Surviving are one sister, MRS. J.D. LITTLEJOHN, Converse; 2 brothers, JOHNNY and J.M. CASH, Chesnee; 3 half-brothers, ANDY and EDGAR GARDNER, Chesnee and CLAYTON GARDNER, Brevard, N.C. Johnson Mortuary in charge. ----- Pacolet Mills- MRS. HANNAH McCRAVY PUCKETT, 80, died at the General hospital after an illness of 5 weeks. She was born in Sptbg. Co., d/o JOHN and MARY HOLTZCLAW McCRAVY. Member of Montgomery Memorial Methodist church, Pacolet Mills. Surviving are 3 sisters, MRS. SARA LAMB, Whitney, MRS. MARY KITCHENS, Roebuck and MRS. NELLIE SUMNER, Fort Mills. Funeral services at the church, burial was in the White Rose cemetery. The family is at Beaumont at the home of MARK McCRAVY. Floyd Mortuary in charge. ----- Pauline, May 19- MRS. BESSIE GRANT CROWE, 68, died at the home of her daughter, MRS. VIRGINIA SMITH of Pauline, after a brief illness. A daughter of the late JOHN ALEXANDER and MELISSA VARNER GRANT, she was a member of Frienship Baptist church. Surviving are 3 daughters, MISS CARRIE CROWE, Pauline, MRS. JESSIE LAYTON, Roebuck and MRS. BARNETT was born and reared in the Oak Grove section near Landrum and was the d/o MARTHA GOSNELL PIERCE and the late DAVID PIERCE. Surviving are one brother, JAMES LEWIS PIERCE, Asheville; 2 sisters, MRS. HENRY FISHER, Hickory and MRS. HESTER FISHER, Campobello.
