    2. 1935 WILLIAM K. LEDBETTER OF SPARTANBURG DIES WILLIAM K. LEDBETTER, 54, for many years a resident of Spartanburg, died at the home of his brother, R.J. LEDBETTER at Arden, N.C., while on a visit. MR. LEDBETTER was a North Carolinian, being the son of WILLIAM B. LEDBETTER, who for many years resided at Horseshoe, N.C. Funeral services were to be held at the home of his brother, interment at the Shaw's Creek cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews; WALLACE HYATT, GRADY LEDBETTER, ROY HILL, WILLIAM LEDBETTER, Z.T. LEDBETTER, MIKE LEE, and FRANK HILL. He is survived by his widow, MRS. BESSIE HAMES LEDBETTER; 2 daughters, MRS. R.F. FLOWE, Charlotte, MRS. COLE L. WELLS, Pacolet ; 3 brothers, R.J., Arden, DR. F.C., Greenville, REV. S.E. LEDBETTER, Florence; 4 sisters, MRS. C.M. HILL, Asheville, MRS. BURTON GAINES, Honea Path, MRS. MATTIE RONE, Sptbg.; MRS. L.B. LEE, Union, 2 half-sisters, MRS. JOHN P. DARDEN, Sptbg. and MRS. CLAUDE ADAMS, Gibson, N.C. ----- July 1- MRS. DOVIE HARRILL, 36 of Cross Anchor died at a local hospital, after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, H.H. HARRILL and the following children; ANNIE, MAE, LILLIAN BELL, ERBY, THELMA, LEOLA and VERA HARRILL, all of Cross Anchor; her mother, MRS. EDNA SOLESBY and one sister, MRS. CORRIE McABEE and two brothers, CLAUD and CALVERT BARNETT. Funeral services were to be conducted at the home of Boyd McABEE, in Inman Mill. Interment in the New Prospect cemetery. ----- Laurens, July 1.- MRS. ELLA S. DARNELL, 70 died at the home of her son, LEWIS DARNELL. Funeral rites conducted by Rev. W.F. HEDGEPATH at Cedar Shoals Church near Enoree. Besides her husband, W.T. DARNELL and a son, she is survived by 2 daughters, MRS. T.G. CROWDER of Mountville and MRS. D.M. LEOPARD of Watts Mill and one sister, MRS.
