1932 ANNIVERSARY OF WEDDING TO BE CELEBRATED MONDAY Dec.24- MR. and MRS. J.T. GENTRY will ride down the streets of Spartanburg to reanact the wedding that took place in the Gowansville section of Greenville Co. on Dec.25, 1882. The Southside Baptist church celebration will culminate in a wedding ceremony to which all friends are invited and the solemn, happy rites the couple heard five decades ago will be said again in the past tense by the Rev. J.L. VIPERMAN..... JOHN THERON GENTRY was born April 10, 1860 in the Walnut Grove section of Spartanburg county. MARY JANE AIKEN GENTRY was born July 27, 1860 in the Gowansville section. After the wedding they lived in Gowensville five years, moving to Holly Springs where they remained three years. They moved to Fairforest and there they resided for 27 years, removing to Spartanburg in 1917. In this city have since remained. Nine children, 32 grand-children and 4 g-grandchildren live to call them blessed. The children are; MRS. J.A. KELLER, Sptbg., MRS. C.B. PRINCE, Landrum, MRS. T.WILSON, Raleigh, MRS. M.M.
