    2. April 5, 1941 Gaffney- MRS.ADDIE C. DANIEL LAVENDER, 72, widow of DOCK LAVENDER, who died at her home after a two months illness, will be conducted at the residence. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Surviving are two sons, BOYCE E. LAVENDER , St. Petersburg, Fla. and D.R. LAVENDER, Mount Holly, N.C.; seven daughters, MRS. T.E. McCUTCHEN, Bishopville, MRS. GRACE BELUE, Charlotte, MRS. M.{?} SMITH, Atlanta, and MRS. H.M. ROBBINS, MRS. F.J. GALLOWAY, MRS. W.D. ANTHONY and MRS. ARCHIE SPARKS, Gaffney ; three brothers, T.D. DANIEL,Milledgeville, Ga., W.J. and JOE DANIEL and a sister, MRS. T.E. MEETZE, Gaffney; 14 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. ----- Jan.23, 1941 Funeral services for JOHN L. LEE, 81, who died at his home in Converse, were to be held from the Converse Baptist church. Burial in the White Plains church cemetery in Cherokee county. Surviving are 3 daughters, MRS. CORA MATHIS, Converse, MRS. CASSIE BIGGERSTAFF, Arcadia, and MRS. MILLIE BEHELER, Shelby; 4 sons, BOYD LEE and BAXTER LEE, Converse, CLARENCE LEE, Washington, and HERBERT LEE, Inman; 2 brothers, RICHARD LEE, Pacolet and SAM LEE, Clifton; 5 sisters, MRS. SARA ANN BYERS and MRS. DARCUS BYERS, Buffalo, MRS. BETTIE COOK, Goucher, MRS. PARALEE FOWLER, Gaffney and MISS MAY LEE. ----- April 17, 1943 SETH M. LEE, 76, well-known farmer of Chesnee, died suddenly at his home yesterday. MR. LEE had lived in the community for past 50 years. Survived by his wife, MRS. ELLA LEE; 2 sons, GEDDES LEE and F.W. LEE, both of Cooley Springs; 3 brothers, JOHN LEE, Sptbg, JIM LEE and JERRY LEE, Chesnee; and a sister, MRS. MAGGIE COOLEY of Chesnee. Bobo funeral home in charge. ----- March 27, 1943. JOHNNY LEE, 63, well-known farmer of the Pacolet community, died suddenly last night at the home of a brother, J.CAIN LEE of Pacolet. Surviving are 4 sisters, MRS. ELIZA MULLIGAN, Bethesda community, MRS. LIZZIE SLOAN, Pacolet, MRS. CASSIE OSTWALT, Troutman, N.C. and MRS. HATTIE LEE JOHNSON, Sptbg. and 2 brothers, PEARL LEE, Arcadia and J.CAIN LEE, Pacolet.
