JOHN GOING of Spartanburg to MISS IOANA KING, of Laurens. ----- OBITUARY Died at his residence near Bethlehem church on the 2nd day of December, 1872, REV. ISAAC L. WEST, in the fifty-fifth year of his age, after a tedious and painful affliction of several months duration, which he endured with much patience to the end. The deceased was a good man and a zealous Christian Minister of the Gospel for the last 23 years of his life. With but little education or early training ,he labored earnestly labored in destitute sections of the country where the Gospel was seldom preached....
