John Butler Morris moved to Spartanburg County, SC before the (June) 1900 census. He died in Spartanburg County, SC in 1927 and is buried at Walnut Hill Baptist Church cemetery. John Butler Morris may be the brother of William E. Morris who married Rhoda Turner and moved to TX after 1910. John Butler Morris' death certificate lists "Martin Lawter" as his father's name, and family information says his mother was Lizzie. Any leads or information would be so very much appreciated!
