Do you need me to remind you to go look for me? I know we can get busy and forget. So you will be looking for Niles Nesbitt and Langdon Chevis Nesbitt. Do you want me to get their death dates for you? Has anyone gone through Bethel yet to write down names on gravestones. I know there was a project afoot some years ago where this was done and people were supposed to be sending cemetary names to be added. There was also a project for finding slave cemetaries. The Bethel Cemetary for blacks is definitely an old slave cemetary. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. I looked at AbeBooks and they show a few copies for sale. Go to http://www.abebooks.com/ In the title field just put "Dodson Family" without the quotation marks. 10 books come up in the search, and 2 are the title you need. A pretty expensive book. Mine is Gabrielle (long a) and I go by Gaye for short. Yes, I found my ancestor's headstone. As a matter of fact it is almost perfectly in tact and stands almost center in the cemetary. Now is it true that the white cemetary is across the railroad tracks. My ancestor's half brothers are supposedly buried there. My ancestor was Nimrod Nesbitt. His father was James Nesbitt Esq. Today the Nesbitt House is a historic landmark and Mr Martin Meek lives in the home. I visited with him last year. Niles Nesbitt is said to be buried in the white cemetary and possibly Langdon Chevis Nesbitt. I would like to see their headstones to see if Nimrod's headstone matches.
