Her father is listed on census reports as having been born in New York- she was born in upstate SC. She married James Trimnel Allen. Seems as if I have been unsubscribed because of bounced return mail- I have no idea why, but I sincerely appreciate all who attempted to respond to my question about Bethesda Baptist Church. As is frequently the case the petition for releasing the young man comes from one of the women whom he has wronged, wife No. 1. She appeared before Magistrate KIRBY today with her petition, offering to pay the costs in the case if the magistrate would release the young man. Magistrate KIRBY was of the opinion however that he family of wife No. 2 had also been wronged and should be consulted before the young man is released. However, the magistrate will confer with Solicitor SEASE regarding the matter in order to determine what should be done in this rather complicated case.
