I am researching my Black line in current day Saluda County. I believe that I have identified Johannes Schwarz of Wuerttemberg, born about 1715, as being the source of my line. His children Johann Adam and Margaret Black both acquired land in the vicinity of the Saluda River in old Edgefield District, so there are some records on them. I do not know of any family that Margaret might have had. I am interested in identifying who/when/where my immigrant ancestor came into this country, and whether Johann Adam (born May 1740) was a participant in the Revolution.
