    3. My g.g.g.gf Isaac HERRING was a schoolteacher in the Saluda area between 1820 and 1860. They lived in the Good Hope Baptist Church area and is listed in church records as having been a deacon of that church for 50 years. He also worked as a saddle maker. His 2nd wife was named NANCY _______. Children were: Asenith HERRING, b. 1819 John HERRING, b. 1827 Jonathan HERRING, b. 3-18-1828 d, 12-19-1912 Samuel HERRING , b. 1830, d. 1859 Barbary HERRING, b. abt 1833 Issac HERRING, b. abt 1835 Lewis HERRING, b. 1837 d. 1858 Does anyone have any information concerning this elusive bunch of HERRINGS?
