Does anyone know if there are any members of the HERRING family still living in the Saluda area? My g.g.g.grandfather Isaac HERRING is buried at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery as is one of his son's Jonathan HERRING and Jonathan's wife Amanda EVANS HERRING. Isaac was a schoolteacher in the area for many years between 1820 and 1870. He was also a deacon at Good Hope for 50 years. Any information appreciated. Don S. Herring Birmingham, AL
