I desperately need verification and a copy of a marriage license that was performed somewhere in South Carolina. I am also a genealogist (25 yr), a mother and grandmother that is fighting to keep her grandson out of an very abusive and dysfunctional home of the other grandmother. Time is running out-they are packing to move in a very short time. The judge said that if I can prove that this marriage did exist, our daughter can get her son. The record I need was filed between 1990-1993 by LAWRENCE LINDOL CURTIS and TINA MARIE HARRIS/ALEXANDER/HOARD. I am praying that someone in each county lives close enough to the county seat to check it out for us. Please reply to me, and I will give you my fax number AND get your mailing info, so I can send you $50. to cover the cost and your expense. > Thanks in advance to all that can help. > > Kay McGregor > McGREGOR, ELLEDGE, MAUPIN, MULLINS, DUCKER, MADDOX, SWANNER in SC > >

In mentioning the Rineharts and Quattlebaums, I noticed the dates and specific property descriptions. My ancestors were the Charles', Michael Sr., Michael Jr., John Charles, etc. They married a Rachel Hair, Christina Koon, etc. Does any of your research include this family? Just curious. I have hit the infamous brickwall with this generation.
