According to Langles' <<SC Deed Abstracts 1719-1772>>, Vol 1, Deed Book S, pg 316, has the following <Deed of Gift> dated 9 Sept 1738- <<Nahaniel Snow and FRANCES, his wife, of the Parish of St. James Goose Creek to their loving friends Edward Shrewsbury and Mary his wife ------>> According to an unknown source, there exists a family Bible record which says that Dr. Nathaniel Snow married Frances Chicken. Is this deed by the senior Dr. Nahaniel Snow or his son of the same name? Is his wife, Frances, the former Frances Chicken? Thanks for help. Ed T of PGH <<the senior Chicken chaser>>
