Thank you so much for your Fishburne information. This is what I have: >From the book, THE DESCENDENTS OF THOMAS LEE OF CHARLESTON by Thomas Carpenter Read..."Jacob Martin LEE, M.D., married, Rebecca Ballard FISHBURNE, Jan. 10, 1832; she was the daughter of Thomas and Eliza FISHBURNE of Walterboro and Charleston. She was born Aug. 6, 1815 and died Mar. 14, 1890." >From LDS, Eliza's maiden name may have been MAXWELL. I have a handwritten notation of William FISHBURNE + Mary ELMES b. 1703 > Thomas ELMES + Eliz. CANTEY b. 1676, but I don't know who they are or what they mean to my family. The children belonging to Jacob and Rebecca LEE listed in the above referenced book are: Thomas Fishburne LEE, M.D. Harriett Eliza LEE Ellen LEE Sarah Mollette LEE Flotence Olivia Letitia LEE Eliza Martin LEE James (Jacob) Martin LEE If anyone can help me with Rebecca Ballard FISHBURNE; her father, Thomas FISHBURNE; her mother, Eliza; and their ancestors, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!
