They were Michael and Francis PONDS who lived in Gilbert Hollow Township, Lexington County in 1880. They lived in household #141 and were listed ad family #194 in the census. Their children were: Alice b. 1861, m. Richard B. BOOZER Bascom, 1868, m. Ida Armstead;Crumwell, b. 1879; George, b. 1865; Lizzie, b. 1870; Mary, b. 1875, Estelle, b. 1877, Thomas, b. December 14, 1873 (lived and died in Richmond, CA.,used "Pond" without "s") Where was this family in 1870 and 1860? Who was Francis? Who was Michael? Where were they born?
