I'm researching my husband's lineage "Nelson" surname is the only name I have so far, his great-grandfather I believe was from Sumter, with the research I have no way of verifying anything since I can't verify or find family before 1900, Gadson Nelson & wife Louisa I believe left Mt. Clio and or the city of Sumter, I believe they lived briefly in Georgia, by the next census they're living in Inverness Florida. thanx for allowing me to share Gayle
