    1. Re: [SC] Francis Marion Clark, Jr. vs Francis Marion
    2. I have received lots of suggestions about how to find information on Francis Marion and some suggestions on finding Francis Marion Clark, Jr. Thanks to everyone. The one I am looking for was not the "Swamp Fox" -- Francis Marion. Mine was called the "Gray Fox" and his name was Francis Marion Clark. He would have lived some time around 1740 - 1790. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm still looking. Sandy In a message dated 1/16/2004 8:25:57 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Francis Marion was called "The Swamp Fox".
