My grandmother was the 13th child and some of her siblings were named Britt, Tom, Curits, Addie, Maude, Moat And "Boss". Her parents died at a young age and she was raised by siblings. She married Victor Wesley Jones, son of John Wesley jones and Susan Jones. I think there is a relation. Check out the book "Exum, Purcell, Finkle, Purcell". Many members of my family have joined Colonial Dames and DAR based on this research.
