Let me start off by saying God is good............. The reason I said that is because I just read some documents on a Gourdin family. I don't know if it is your family or not. The South Carolina Historical Society here in Charleston has alot of information....these Gourdin's were in Georgetown County. I don't know if this helps you or not but good luck.
