To A. Sawyer <searching2@mindspring.com. I too believe that I have a Fort line and have researched a book "A Family Called Fort: The Descendants of Elias Fort of VA.", Homer T. Fort and Drucilla Stovall Jones, (West Texas Printing Co, 1970). I got a copy of this book thru interlibrary loan at my local public library. Here are the folks that I have listed. Note that I did not list the other 7 children of Elias Fort II. Now I am sorry that I did not. At the time I was only listing direct lines, but now I realize that is impossible to do, as other folks can give clues to the main line one is researching. But maybe this will give you enough to see if you think this family might be one worth checking in to and you can get the book.
