Family tradition states that this Dr. HETTLEY was quite a few years older than Margaret and from the southern portion of South Carolina and was involved in a court case in 1789 York Dist,, SC basically fathering a child of Margaret HALL's out of wedlock and Margaret was fined 3.11.6.
