Freda, Were your SIMS in SC also? I am looking for connections to Thomas Sims (b 5 Jan 1769 VA? or SC?, d 24 Jan 1854, Abbeville District SC.). One of his daughters, Sarah married, 2 Jan 1821 in Abbeville District, SC, to David McCombs. They moved to Jefferson Co., AL about 1820 or so. Another daughter of Thomas, Mary (Polly) married David Greer. They lived and died in Honea Path, SC.
