    3. Albert, Thanks for the info on John Boyd. I guess that elimates him as a prospect as Mary's father. I am looking for information about the parents and/or siblings of Mary Boyd who married Michael Rob(b)ins (War of 1812 Soldier) sometime before the birth of their first child, 1817/19 in SC. They moved to Alabama between then and the birth of the next child 1820/24. Some researchers state that Mary was the daughter of a revolutionary soldier. Then conclude that that soldier was James Boyd who lived in Jefferson Co., AL for a short time before moving to Mississippi. No one seems to have any documentation for this. I think that it comes from an inquiry that was printed by Gundrud and Jones in one of the Jefferson Co. volumes of Alabama Records. Someone had written and asked, "WAS James Boyd that soldier?" Another researcher seems to think that Mary was the daughter of a Thomas Boyd who was connected to some Rob(b)ins in SC. I would like some documentation for either of these theories or any other Boyd, who had a daughter named Mary, who could be this Mary. Thanks, Melba -----Original Message----- From: Albert H.
