Hi Joy; Yes their is a community near Honea Path S C called Craytonville, its just a cross roads and yes their was a Stage Coach stop at a Taveran their and from some of the stores I have heard John C Calhoun use to stop and spend a night or two their. on his way to and from Clemson. Their isw a picture of the Taveran in the Anderson Independent-mail dated 4 March 2001 in the Recollections section. according to the artical the Taveran burned about 30 years ago.
