I am searching for information on the MUCKENFUSSfamily both those from Charleston as well as Colleton/Dorchester counties cira 1755 - 1850 I am still searching for the Plantations in Colleton county owned by RUGER, MORRISON, ELLIOT, and MUCKENFUSS circa 1760-1840. Also, I am searching for the tinsmith, Robert DOWNIE and his family (Charleston, SC), and the lumber merchant, James TURNBULL of Charleston (1800-1863).
