He is the father of John Ouldfield Jr. who married Ann LaRoche, my ancestor. I cannot find any information on how he got to Goose Creek, S. C. , but I know (or think I know) that his sister, Mary came to Goose Creek, S. C. from Salem, Essex, Ma and married William Norman.
