1910 United States Federal Census > South Carolina > Newberry > 1-Wd Newberry > District 102 According to the 1910 Newberry SC census James M. Friday was a Methodist church clergyman born about 1855. He married about 1881 to Emma K. ? , born about 1858. Listed on the census were daughters Aileen, born about 1886, single, and Louise, born about 1888, single, and one son, Wofford, born about 1897, single. All were born in SC and both James' and Emma's parents were born in SC, also. Both daughters were public school teachers. There is likely more information on him in the book which lists Methodist Ministers in SC which we have at our local library. It also has pictures of the Ministers. I attempted to send you a copy of the census from Ancestry but it stalled on me.
