I talked to a person connected to Ancestry.com concerning my ancestors and IF they could help me find them. I told them no because they have false material on line at their site concerning my ancestors. He said that there is a box to click somewhere on the screen to send a correction for a mistake. I never have seen one. I also told him that they glean material from e-mails and some of it is incorrect since we are all trying to find the truth about our ancestors. They copy it as truth, then charge a person to read the material on their site. This material may be in the public domain, but it is still researched by a descendent with no pay for the work, just family love. Must we copyright our e-mail. I really resent them charging others for our research whether it is correct or incorrect. They annual fee is rediculous and then some of the stuff they put on line isn't true. People should know about this. I never put all my material on line and I write directly to the person when it concerns details of my family. It saves them from using it on a paid site while I am giving it to others free. It makes me very angry. Nora
