Rude is an action which one can do to others, or have done to themselves, which is unkind, or otherwise insulting or demeaning. But what you were referring to was just a brutal act by someone who has no concern for you or anyone else!! 'Rude' is so very mild, compared to 'brutal', as I see it!! Just one view-point!!
