So I spend much less than trips would cost me. Though I carry much more than you do with Ancestry, the cost is so much less than making trips. IM WITH YOU, Linda. Ancestry is fantastic for receiving IMAGES of original censuses. They have to pay for most of what they have online. All of it is not from others' research, which oft times also has errors, as many say. Transcriptions are often incorrect as are the census takers information.
