Here it is again: My mother and I are researching Thomas H. Hodges (he is my ggg-grandfather) and she ran across a post from Kathy Hodges Young suggesting that he and Leroy H. Hodges were brothers, both born in South Carolina. Kathy Hodges Young posted this note referring to Thomas and Leroy in Feb 2004: "we found evidence that John was the Father of them both." However KHY just e-mailed my mother with not much more than guesses about the relation. You posted the following in October 2003: "Is there any one on the List that is researching Leroy H. Hodges born in 1806 raised in Laurens Co., and Abbeville the Old 96th dist. South Carolina, before he was married and came to Jefferson Co., Ala. We are still searching for his parents names. Still have no clue at all. He is buried at the HODGES Cememtery in Republic, Jefferson Co., Ala." Thomas was born in 1819 and Leroy in 1806. Granted I’ve seen some pretty big spreads among siblings in our families of that time period, but from your information, would it make sense that these two could be brothers and then John their father? I'd appreciate your opinion. Thanks
