    3. Please forgive all the multiple postings that I am sure many of you are getting over and over. Just want to see that the info. gets out to all the areas of Old Edgefield dist. A couple of years ago before my mother got sick, I was going to the state archives once per week to work on transcribing probate records from the microfilm collection of Old Edgefield Dist probate. Not the wills from the will books, but the copies of the actual probate, some wills, some intestate, but all including additional information beyond what is available in just the will from the WPA typed transcriptions. I hope to get back there soon, as I found two unknown ancestors in the information, pairing up my research with Edgefield County Marriages 1769-1880 Implied in Edgefield County South Carolina Probate Records" by Barbara R. Langdon. I lost the address of the archives, but recently got in touch with the keeper of the archives and got it. Thought some of you may want to see what is there, and possibly share your items for Victoria to post to the list. Check it out at: > http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/sc/sca_edge.html > You can access ALL the counties, plus our statewide South Carolina > Archives files from: > http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/sc/scfiles.htm I have written the host of the Edgefield USGENWEB site and asked that they place a link to this information. that site is found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~scedgefi/ I was very dissappointed in it, as it only had discriptions of things, and explanantions of what was available, which is very nice, but where is all the donated info. going? Lets try to make out Edgefield sites as good as any. Does anyone have other links for Old Edgefield or Old Ninety Six District that actually contains records? 3. Billie, when I clicked on Pioneers and Family Trees on the Edge field Site, it didn't do anything at all. Is it down?
