    1. [SC] Angus Smith and Adeline Lawrence

    3. Angus Smith (born about 1827 in Scotland) married Adeline Lawrence (born about 1834 in SC) about 1850 in Charleston SC. They were in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Census for Charleston. Have not been able to find them after 1870. Any assistance in finding when and where they died will be much appreciated. Polly

    3. I have Smith's in SC, but cannot get back earlier than my gg-grandfather John Wesley Smith b. SC ca 1868. Does your family have a John Wesley Smith in it?     3. I have a John Wesley Smith, b. 6 Jan 1868, d. 15 Nov 1937 who married an Elmira Short, b. 22 Dec 1873, d. 10 Oct 1949 in my files. It is not my direct line, but I can provide parents if that will help you any. Please let me know. W. Smith
