Barbara, Would Sarah Black Hamilton who married John McCants be the Sarah McCants referenced as the sister to Margaret Hambleton in the will of Margaret in Williamsburg District, SC, dated 23 Feb. 1816? If so, do you have any information on the family of Sarah? I am descended from her sister, Jane Hamilton Cockfield, and would very much appreciate any information, clues, etc, as to their parentage.
